US President Donald Trump and first lady Melania have contracted the coronavirus. The American leader wrote about this on Friday on his Twitter page.
“Tonight, [Melania Trump] and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this together!” he wrote.
On Thursday, Trump reported that his counselor Hope Hicks has contracted the coronavirus. Cases of infection with the novel coronavirus were recorded at the White House several times. For instance, Katie Miller, press secretary to Vice President of the United States Mike Pence, was diagnosed with it. Later, United States National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien has also tested positive for the coronavirus. They both recovered and returned to work.
