Baba, also known as “the Nostradamus of the Balkans,” apparently foretold that the US president would suffer from “a mysterious illness” which will leave him deaf and with a brain tumour.
Despite dying 23 years ago, Baba Vanga is said by some to have had paranormal powers and the ability to see into the future.
According to the blind Balkan woman, 5079 will be the year the universe will end.
The psychic grew up on a farm in what is now Macedonia and she was blinded in a dust storm – which is what gave her the “second sight,” according to her fans.
Right before her death at the age of 85 she made a series of predictions for the year 2020.
According to one of Baba Vanga’s prophecies, the 45th President of the United States would succumb to an unknown disease at some point in the near future.
The ailment would leave the leader, President Trump, with hearing loss, tinnitus and brain trauma.
Some claim this was an accurate prediction of coronavirus, which the President tested positive for earlier this week.
In extraordinary scenes at the White House on Friday, Trump, was rushed via helicopter to the medical center near capital Washington DC after being struck down with the deadly bug on Thursday.
After it was reported Trump was “struggling to breathe,” White House doctor Sean P Conley said Trump was given a dose of Remdesivir.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “I heard of this prediction almost a year ago, I didn’t believe it. Now I do!”
Another said: “If Baba Vanga was right I’ll eat my hat.”
A third added: “Trump tested positive for covid-19, Baba Vanga prediction strikes once more.”
This is not the only prediction by Baba that fans claim was accurate.
Followers of the blind woman, who died in 1996, believe she also correctly predicted a number of key events in world history, including Brexit and the rise of ISIS.
However, not everything she has predicted has been right – since the President’s illness was at one point meant to happen in 2019.
Baba Vanga also predicted there would be a nuclear war in the years 2010 to 2014 – but this obviously failed to materialise.
