Russia concluded a contract stipulating the export of millions of doses of the “Sputnik V” vaccine against the emerging corona virus, to Mexico.
Today, Wednesday, the agency quoted a source close to the deal that the Russian Direct Investment Fund had agreed to sell 32 million doses of this vaccine to a large Mexican pharmaceutical company, and the contract is expected to be officially announced later in the day.
This is the second contract concluded by Russia regarding the export of its Corona vaccine abroad.
In August, the Direct Investment Fund agreed to sell two million doses of the “Sputnik V” vaccine to Kazakhstan, with the possibility of expanding the deal to five million doses.
Last August, Russia became the first country in the world to officially register a vaccine against the emerging corona virus and began producing it.
