Former US President Bill Clinton said that the White House, under current President Donald Trump, has become a hotbed of chaos.
Clinton, who presided over the United States in 1993-2001, presented his vision of the situation at the US Democratic National Convention, held virtually in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He likened Trump’s presidency to chaos, and accused him of failing to form a steady government.
“Trump claims to have a leading position in the world with the United States,” he said. But we are the only major industrial economy in which the unemployment rate has tripled. At about this time, the Oval Office should become a command center. Instead, it turned into a hurricane center.
He referred that Trump administration’s measures to combat the epidemic, noting that the number of deaths in the United States is relentlessly close to 200,000, and the number of unemployed and bankrupt small and medium-sized companies is increasing. Clinton said: “How did Trump react? He first stated that the virus is under control and will soon disappear. And when that didn’t happen, he bragged about his successes every day on television, even though scientists were waiting to provide us with vital information. When he did not like the advice of the experts, he simply ignored it. ”
He pointed out that the United States represents 4% of the world’s population, but it has 25% of the new cases of Coronavirus in the world.
