Iranian Deputy Minister of Health: Almost all of Iran is in red health in relation to the danger of the Corona outbreak

Iran’s Deputy Minister of Health, Erj Hariri, said that the situation of the Corona virus outbreak in Iran was “not absolutely good”.

He added that “almost all of Iran is in a red health situation regarding the risk of the virus spreading, and that Tehran has become a focus of exporting the virus to other provinces and cities.”

Haririji said during a meeting on official television, that about four thousand people are being admitted to hospitals every day, because they are infected with the virus, or because they may be infected with it.

Haririji indicated that the death rate from the virus will rise in two or three weeks due to the high number of infected people on a daily basis, and said that 10% of those infected in hospitals will die.

The Iranian health official noted that the injuries in the city of Mashhad, the second largest city in Iran, have recently escalated by about 300%.

On the Iranian capital, Tehran, which includes about fifteen million people, the Deputy Minister of Health said that it has become a source of the virus outbreak and its transmission to the rest of the Iranian regions, adding that 600 cases enter daily hospitals in the capital.

For its part, the anti-virus committee in the Iranian capital said that the health situation in Tehran is red, and 30% of hospital beds have been allocated to treat those infected with the virus.

In spite of the situation that is described as dangerous in all Iranian regions, the country is preparing to revive the day of Arafah weekend in the mosques, and the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Health, especially Sadat Larry, announced that the ministry is writing health protocols to revive Ashura ceremonies in the months of Muharram and Safar next, in all coming Over the country.

Since about a month, Iran has recorded more than two thousand cases of corona virus every day, and about two hundred deaths, while the majority of Iranian regions are classified as dangerous in relation to the spread of the virus.
