Corona injuries globally exceed 16.83 million, and deaths 660,997 thousand

More than 16.83 million people have been infected with the emerging corona virus worldwide, and 660,997 people have died from the virus, the latest census showed, today, Wednesday.

HIV infections have been recorded in more than 210 countries and regions since the first cases were discovered in China in December 2019.

The United States topped the list with more than 150,000 deaths, four million and 376,975 cases.

Brazil ranked second with 88,539 deaths, two million and 48,3191 injuries.

India came third with 34,193 deaths, one million and 531,669 cases.

Russia ranked fourth, with 13,673 deaths and 828990 injuries.
