Commenting on “Buying It From China” Reports WHO Director Lies Pompeo

On Thursday, WHO Director Tidros Adhanom Gebresus rejected US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo‘s claim that he owed China his position, describing Pompeo‘s words as “incorrect” and “unacceptable”.

In a hypothetical press conference, Gebresos warned against “politicizing the Corona epidemic,” noting that “the comments received are incorrect, unacceptable and baseless.”

The World Health Organization yesterday expressed its alarm at what was reported by news reports about Pompeo that the Chinese government “bought” the head of the organization, and said in a statement that “the World Health Organization is not aware of any such statement, but we strongly reject any personal attacks or allegations not Basis for it. ”

The British newspaper “Times” and other media reported that Pompeo told a closed meeting with a number of British representatives that his claim was based on a “solid intelligence basis”, but he did not give any details.
