Syria: 7 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in the town of Ras al-Maarah in Damascus countryside

The Syrian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 7 new infections with the Corona virus in the town of Ras al-Maara in Damascus countryside, raising the number of infections recorded in the country to 177.

The ministry statement, today, Sunday, said: “7 new cases of Corona virus were recorded for people in contact in the town of Ras al-Maara in Damascus countryside, bringing the number of cases registered in Syria to 177, and no deaths, so that the total deaths remain at 6.”

The ministry announced yesterday, Saturday, that it had recorded 6 new infections and 3 cures, for a total of 71 cures.

Quarantine was imposed in the town of Ras al-Maara last week after a large number of injuries appeared in Corona as a result of contact with an injured truck driver working on the Syrian-Jordan line.
