Today, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 6 new infections with the Corona virus, raising the number of infections to 204.
The ministry said in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that the cases of infection announced today are for people in contact with Jadidat Al-Fadl, indicating that the outcome of the recorded cases of the virus in has reached 204 cases so far, of which 83 were cured, and 7 cases died.
The Ministry of Health announced last night that the new town of Al-Fadl, affiliated to Quneitra governorate, would be quarantined after recording several infections in it, in order to prevent the spread of the virus and to preserve public health and the safety of citizens.
The first case of Corona virus was recorded in Syria on the twenty-second of last March for a person coming from outside the country, while the first death was recorded on the twenty-ninth of the same month.
