Member of the European Parliament for the Czech Republic Dr. Ivan David emphasized that the regime of Turkish President Rajep Tayyip Erdogan continues to violate the international embargo on the export of arms to Libya in a rude way in front of the European Union ships that are supposed to monitor the implementation of the ban but do not do so.
David said in an article published on his Facebook page that “the Turkish regime recently and without any objection transferred a lot of military equipment to the areas surrounding the Libyan capital Tripoli, after having previously sent thousands of terrorists and mercenaries from Syria, some of whom had previously fought in the ranks of the organization ( ISIS) to fight alongside Fayez al-Sarraj government. ”
David pointed out that many NATO countries are now also assisting Saraj government and its militias militarily and logistically despite the international embargo imposed on international arms exports to Libya.
