The World Health Organization said today, Tuesday, that it was not surprised by the content of a report indicating that the Corona virus appeared in France last December, that is, before the official announcement of the infection in the country.
“It is possible to find early cases,” said WHO spokesperson Christian Lindemar, calling on countries to inspect medical records dating back to late 2019, as this would “give the world a clearer picture” of the virus.
The French doctor, Yves Cohen, indicated two days ago that the new Corona virus was circulating in France in late December, after reviewing the tests of a patient who was admitted on the 27th of that month to a hospital in Paris.
