Tidros Adhanum Gypressus, WHO director-general, said Friday that the vaccine and medicine will not end the Corona pandemic if they are not distributed fairly to all.
He added in his daily briefing that scientists and researchers are working very quickly to find solutions to the “Covid-19” disease caused by the Corona virus.
He continued, “Traditional market models will not provide (medicine and vaccine) as necessary for the entire world.”
On Thursday, the organization warned that the pandemic had not yet reached its worst stage, and suggested that the infection would continue to “spread chaos” among people.
The spokesperson for the United Nations, Margaret Harris, explained that experts in one hundred teams working around the world to develop a vaccine, but this process requires time, especially to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the vaccine.
