Data of the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases revealed that the transmission rate of corona infection in Germany rose again to 1.1, from 0.65 before lifting some restrictions related to fighting the virus last Wednesday.
The institute expressed its concern about the increase in the mentioned rate, stressing the need to continue preventive measures, such as wearing masks and gloves, and taking into account social distancing.
During its meeting last week, the German government decided to reopen all shops and shopping centers, regardless of size, provided that the rules for social separation are observed.
According to the latest statistics, the number of people with corona in Germany reached 171 thousand and 639, of whom 7 thousand and 549 died, while 144 thousand and 400 recovered.
