“Bloomberg”: Corona exposes the class disparity in the United States and meat has become rich only

US Bloomberg said meat in the United States is now affordable for the high-income class.

The agency said that the regular commercial spaces for the sale of foodstuffs are now complaining of meat loss, unlike the luxury selling points, where the products are mainly bought by high-income people.

The agency pointed out that the unemployment rates are increasing, which in turn has increased the number of people who have lost income, which makes them unable to buy meat, whose prices have increased since the beginning of last April.

In addition, the Corona virus “Covid-19” outbreak affected meat production.

In its report, the agency noted that the Corona epidemic revealed social and economic inequality in the United States, as reflected by the purchasing power of low-income people.

The American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also reported that several thousand meat workers have been infected with the Corona virus, due to work conditions that compel them not to adhere to health measures to avoid contracting the virus.
