Arab International Forum: The measures imposed on Syria are a war crime

Participants in the Arab and International Forum called for the lifting of unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria, to stand by it and their full support for it in its response to the terrorist war imposed on it.

Participants at the meeting held last Friday through the technique of communicating via the Internet under the title “The Virtual Arab International Forum to Lift the Siege on Syria and Abolish the Sanctions of Friendly and Sistered Peoples” at the initiative of the Arab International Center for Communication and Solidarity and in cooperation with Arab and international conferences, unions, parties and institutions and Arab and international institutions in a statement to them … the necessity for the United Nations to play a more effective role towards these measures, which are war crimes against humanity and must be lifted immediately.

The statement called on the Arab regimes that participated in boycotting Syria and helped to stoke the war against it, to apologize to the Syrian people and to reverse all unjust decisions taken against the Syrian state. It also called on the chambers of commerce, industry and agriculture in the Arab countries to break the siege on Syria and cancel the unilateral measures against it.

The statement stressed the necessity of exposing all those who promote American policies, including writers, journalists, politicians, and non-governmental organizations supported by American bodies, as they have become partners with America in its crimes.

The statement called for a boycott and defamation of all American goods and services, especially those bearing US commercial franchises.
