A plane carrying 250 Syrians stranded abroad arrives at Damascus International Airport from Sudan

A Syrian Air plane carrying 250 Syrians stranded abroad arriving from Khartoum Airport in Sudan arrived in Damascus International Airport in implementation of the decisions of the government team concerned with tackling the Corona virus.

The passengers of the plane were transported by private buses directly to the quarantine centers, according to the statement of the Director of Damascus Health, Dr. Hazar Raef, to reporters, which indicated that “the passengers of the plane coming from several Syrian governorates, so they were transferred to the quarantine centers, most of them to the quarantine center in Homs to facilitate their travel to their governorates after They stayed 14 days in the center to ensure that they were not infected with the Corona virus, as during this period they were provided with all the necessary medical services to investigate any infection and detect it early and provide appropriate treatment in the relevant centers.

Dr. Raef pointed out that as soon as the plane’s passengers arrived at the airport, the medical team measured the temperatures and recorded their data and then transferred them by private buses to the stone centers, stressing that the goal of the stone is to ensure the safety of individuals and not to be in contact with their families and society except after ensuring their safety.

Dr. Raef indicated that the quarantine center is equipped to provide all the proper accommodation services for the passengers in addition to a specialized medical team supervising health care for them by providing medical and investigative services around the clock, noting that the team will take the nasal, pharyngeal and oral swabs from the residents of the stone centers and send them to the laboratories that The Ministry has allocated it to Corona’s analysis to determine whether they are infected or not.

A Syrian Airways plane carrying 232 passengers stranded abroad arrived at Damascus International Airport last Thursday from Cairo Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Syrian Air had started since the fourth of this month to operate flights to evacuate the Syrian nationals who want to return from a number of countries in the world to Syria according to the lists that were registered through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates at embassies and diplomatic missions, in implementation of the decisions of the government team concerned with tackling the Corona virus.
