Zarif criticizes Europe’s subordination to American pressure against Iran

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed that neither Europe nor the United States has the right to impose on Iran their view and misinterpretation of UN Security Council Resolution 2231, especially that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons or missiles capable of carrying it.

Zarif, in a tweet on Twitter, criticized Europe’s dependence on US pressure against Iran and said, “The United States has been pressing everyone against Security Council Resolution 2231 since 2017 and Europe has followed America instead of the resolution.”

Zarif renewed late last year that Resolution 2231 did not prevent Iran from testing ballistic missiles.

Yesterday, the forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards in Iran announced the launch of the “Noor” satellite, which is intended for military purposes, and placed it via the “Qasd” carrier satellite in its orbit, 426 kilometers away.
