Trump announces the suspension of US funding for WHO activities

US President Donald Trump has announced that he has ordered his administration to suspend the payment of financial contributions to the United States to the World Health Organization due to what he called the “mismanagement” of the United Nations in the emerging crisis of the Corona virus.

“Today I am ordering the suspension of WHO funding while a review is being conducted to assess the role of the WHO in severe mismanagement and obfuscation of the outbreak of the Corona virus,” Trump was quoted as saying at a White House press conference today.

Trump directed a prolonged indictment to the United Nations and said that “the world has received a lot of misinformation about transmission and deaths caused by the epidemic.”

Trump had threatened on the eighth of this month to freeze US funding to the United Nations, which last year amounted to 400 million dollars, but he returned and back then from these threats and said that he would “strongly consider such a move.”

Critics of the US President, including the Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, are accused of “catastrophic mistakes” in dealing with the crisis of the Corona epidemic in the United States, which tops the list of deaths and injuries around the world.

His critics also accuse him of being baptized at the start of the crisis and for several weeks praising the way China has dealt with “Covid 19” and reduces the threat the epidemic poses to the United States.
