The Syrian Central Bank allows exchange institutions to operate on Saturday

The Syrian Central Bank issued a decision allowing exchange institutions to return to work on Saturdays every week, starting tomorrow.

The Syrian Central has adjusted its working hours to be from nine in the morning until four in the afternoon, starting from tomorrow, Saturday, until further notice.

The bank stressed the need to continue to adhere to the required procedures, to ensure the health and safety of workers and customers.

And the Syrian Central stated that its new circular comes in line with the recent directives issued by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers regarding the amendment of curfew times imposed on Friday and Saturday during the month of Ramadan, to become from half past seven until six in the morning the following day.

The Central Bank of Syria completed work with a previous circular issued on the 14th of this month, requiring exchange institutions to stop working completely during Saturdays every week until further notice, as part of a series of precautionary and preventive measures to address the spread of the new Corona virus.
