The Minister of Health during a press conference: the recovery of a new case of corona virus .. all infections recorded so far in Damascus and its countryside

The Minister of Health, Dr. Nizar Yazigi, announced the recovery of one of the recorded cases of Corona virus in Syria, bringing the number of cases to six.

The Ministry of Health announced the registration of 39 cases infected with the Corona virus since the discovery of the first case of a person coming from outside the country on the twenty-second of last March.

Minister Yazji said in a press conference today at the Ministry of Health that all the infections that were announced in the Corona virus are in the provinces of Damascus and its countryside, and no injuries in other governorates so far, explaining that when infections are recorded in any governorate, their location will be announced immediately.

Minister Yazji emphasized that the reference in the announcement of injuries is the Ministry of Health through the results shown by its laboratories and not social networking sites, pointing to the accuracy and reliability of the recorded and announced injuries and that the health status of Corona-infected cases, which are in critical condition, does not exceed the number of the fingers of one hand.

Minister Yazigi indicated that all the cases that are cured remain a follow-up as the epidemiological investigation team performs a test with a check to check on the case every five days until the condition is proven negative and then another smear is made after five days to make sure that the case is truly cured as there is an awareness factor procedure at the request Domestic stone for a period of fourteen days to be completely satisfied with the situation, noting that it has not yet been proven that the disease gives immunity absolutely after recovery.

The Minister of Health stated that the seriousness of the spread of the Corona virus is still present, and not few, as the number of infections is still rising in the world.

The Minister of Health stressed that upon learning that there are injuries in an area, we are taking strong precautionary measures, namely closing this area to check in parallel with the investigation team conducting a survey and study of the area in an optimal way so that we can be assured that the injuries are in a relative condition and no apparent injuries because the possibility of the presence of injured cases does not appear on them Symptoms are out of the question.

Minister Yazji pointed out that there is no health map for the placement of the epidemic in Syria because this requires a full study of all regions through analytical survey procedures in addition to that there are not many cases in Syria indicating that smears are taken from a large number of citizens and the analysis of more than 100 smears daily.

The Minister of Health indicated that the previously recorded injuries, including several in the town of Sayyida Zeinab in Damascus countryside, and contacts are being tracked, as approximately 3,850 swabs have been taken so far and are continuing to do so to ensure that there are no new injuries in the town, stressing the need to continue the precautionary measures and awareness of citizens in this town An urgent necessity of commitment in their homes to continue the survey process.

Minister Yazji pointed out that the precautionary measures are also continuing in the town of Minin in Damascus countryside and 850 smears have been taken from the citizens there, indicating that when things are good, this precautionary measure imposed on this town will be lifted.
