The curfew imposed by the Turkish Ministry of the Interior on 31 states ended for two days, as part of anti-Corona virus measures.
A statement issued by the Ministry stated that the curfew had ended as of 24:00 local time, Monday, local time.
Earlier Sunday, the ministry announced in another statement that “judicial and administrative measures have been taken against 24,88 people who violate the curfew.”
The ban included Ankara, Istanbul, Adana, Antalya, Aiden, Balikesir, Bursa, Samsun, Denizli, Diyarbakir, Erzurum, Eskisehir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Izmir, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya, Malatya, Manisa, Mardin , Mersin, Mugla, Ordu, Sakarya, Chanli Urfa, Tekirdag, Trabzon, Zonguldak and Wan.
As of Sunday, Turkey had recorded 56,956 cases of Corona virus, including 1,198 deaths, 3 thousand and 446 recoveries, according to the Ministry of Health.
The lifting of the ban came despite the announcement by the Turkish Ministry of Health of a high death toll from infections and deaths in the country’s Coruna virus.
