The Syrian Health Directorate of Homs announced, today, Monday, the death of a woman who was subject to precautionary custody against the backdrop of the Corona epidemic, but indicated that the death was not due to corona.The directorate explained that “the deceased (51 years) died from a myocardial infarction, confirming that she did not show any symptoms of infection with the emerging corona virus during the entire precautionary period.”
The deceased had arrived from Lebanon several days ago and had been quarantined in a quarantine center at the Mobile Hospital in Homs, to ensure that she was not infected with the Corona virus.
The Directorate added that the deceased was suffering from high arterial tension and receiving the necessary treatment for it, and that she “was exposed this morning to a myocardial infarction that led to her death, after all the emergency measures were provided by the existing medical staff.
