The Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources announced that the wells and oil and gas installations in Hayan and Al-Shaer fields in the countryside of Homs Governorate have been put back into production after being secured this afternoon.
The ministry said in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that production will return to the fields gradually to reach the full amount of the previous production from tomorrow morning, and that it will be pumped back to the gas grid and electric power stations.
The Ministry announced last Sunday that the security situation in the Badia region led to a number of wells in Hayan and Al Shaer fields being interrupted and large quantities of gas coming out, which was sharply reflected on the electrical network and thus increasing the hours of electric rationing during the last period
