New York Governor: All indications are that the Corona pandemic is declining and 507 new deaths are recorded

New York Gov. Andrew Koomo considered all current indications of a decline in the Corona virus pandemic in the state, while 507 new deaths from the disease were recorded, declining daily.

Kuomo, at a press conference held on Sunday, reported that the death toll due to Corona virus in the state during the past day increased by 507 new cases, to reach point 13689 after it was at the level of 13362 yesterday evening Saturday.

This figure represents a significant decline in the daily death rate compared to previous statistics, as this rate Friday reached 630 cases, and Saturday is 540 cases, and the new outcome is the lowest of its kind in more than two weeks.

Como added that the number of people being treated in state hospitals decreased from 16,967 to 16,213, pointing out that the number of new patients in hospitals witnessed a significant decline and decreased to 1384 cases per day after it was 1915 in the previous outcome.

Commenting on these figures, the state governor said: “All indications are that at the present time that we are in the stage of retreat (of the Corona virus pandemic), but this time is not appropriate for calm.”

Kuomo announced that the state authorities are launching a “strict” campaign to conduct tests for the detection of antibodies to the virus in citizens to determine the true number of people who have been infected.
