Today, the Ministry of Interior extended the ban on movement between governorates until the second of May, in implementation of the decision of the government team concerned with the strategy to tackle the Corona virus, to prohibit movement between provinces.
The decision does not include all the activities that are excluded from the curfew measures in a manner that guarantees the continuation of the service and health institutions and the productive sector in addition to the humanitarian cases and the basic needs of citizens, “transport vehicles for food supplies, vegetables and oil derivatives”.
The Council of Ministers decided on the twenty-ninth of last month to prohibit movement between governorates from the thirty-first of March to the sixteenth of April.
This decision is part of the precautionary measures taken by the government to deal with the Corona virus, out of its concern for the health and safety of citizens.
