The Yabrud City Council in the countryside of Damascus announced the control of a “major fire” in one of the factories adjacent to a gas station in the village of Al-Qastal.
“Thanks to the cooperation of all, the fire was brought under control,” said the council, which about an hour ago launched an urgent appeal to help put out the fire
The council had said in the appeal, that there is a need for many mechanisms to extinguish the fire, and asked “those who have the ability to help with a mechanism or tank” to go to the village of Qastal – Qalamoun.
The city of Damascus witnessed a fire today, in 3 warehouses for corks in the Zablatani area.
