A Reuters count showed that the death toll from corona virus infection in the United States has risen to more than 34,000 today.

The number of confirmed cases of the virus in the United States exceeded 680,000 after it rose by about 33,000 yesterday.
Injuries and deaths are uneven across the country, with densely populated areas like New York accounting for nearly half of all deaths in the United States.
