China reports 6 new infections in Corona, including two from abroad

China’s National Health Committee announced today that it had received reports of six confirmed new infections with the Corona virus emerging on the Chinese mainland last night, including two from abroad.

The commission said in a daily report, according to Xinhua news agency that three local injuries were reported in Heilongjiang Province and one in Guangdong Province, without any deaths reported yesterday on the Chinese mainland.

According to the committee: “50 people were discharged from hospitals after their recovery yesterday, while the number of serious cases decreased by 6 to 57 cases.” Noting that the Chinese mainland reported a total of 1618 injuries to those coming from abroad until last night, 849 of them were discharged from hospitals upon recovery and still 769 Among them, 32 patients are in critical condition.

The committee said that the total confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 82,804 as of yesterday, including 915 patients still receiving treatment and 77,257 hospitalized after recovery, and 4,632 people died from the virus.

As of last night, 1,035 confirmed cases had been reported, including four deaths in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, 45 cases in the Macao Special Administrative Region and 427 cases in Taiwan, including six deaths, while 699 patients had been discharged in Hong Kong, 27 in Macau and 253 in Taiwan From hospitals after recovery.
