China ‘s National Health Commission announced today that it had received reports of 12 new confirmed cases of the new Corona Virus on the Chinese mainland last night, including 11 from abroad.
The committee noted in a daily report, according to Xinhua news agency that the locally recorded case was in Heilongjiang Province, pointing to 89 people leaving hospital after recovery, while the number of serious cases decreased by 8 cases to 49 cases.
The committee did not report yesterday’s death cases on the mainland, and 3 new suspected cases were reported, with two new and one domestic case in Beijing.
As of yesterday, the total confirmed cases in the Chinese mainland were 82,816, including 838 patients still receiving treatment, 77,346 hospitalized after recovery, and 4,632 people died from the virus.
As of yesterday, 1,035 confirmed cases had been reported, including four deaths in Hong Kong, 45 confirmed cases in Macau, and 428 cases in Taiwan, including six deaths.
In central China’s Hubei Province, local health authorities announced today that no new confirmed cases of corona or deaths were recorded last night.
In turn, the Shanghai Municipal Local Health Committee confirmed that no new confirmed cases of “Covid 19” were recorded in Shanghai Province yesterday, noting that a total of 302 new cases were registered in the province, including 216 patients recovering from the virus and discharged from hospital, and 86 other patients still receiving treatment.
