Arab countries investigate the crescent of Ramadan tonight

Several Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Jordan and Algeria, are preparing to explore the crescent of the holy month of Ramadan Thursday evening.

The Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia called for the investigation of the sighting of the crescent of Ramadan, on Thursday evening, which corresponds to the thirtieth of Shaaban in the Hijri calendar, and to inform the nearest court of those who see it with the naked eye or through perspectives.

The UAE and Algeria announced that they would see the crescent of Ramadan after the Maghrib prayer, while the first legal judge in Damascus announced that he was looking forward to seeing the crescent of Ramadan on Thursday.

For its part, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon and Bahrain announced yesterday, Wednesday, that Thursday is the last day of the month of Shaaban, and that Friday is the beginning of Ramadan.

This year, Ramadan, coincides with the outbreak of the new epidemic of Corona around the world, which has claimed the lives of more than 170,000 people.

The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh, announced last Friday that Tarawih and Eid al-Fitr prayers will be held in homes if the virus continues
