A slight earthquake measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale struck 36 km north of the city of Latakia in the Mediterranean.
The National Seismological Center said in a statement that Sana received a copy of it that a slight earthquake measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale and a depth of 15 km was recorded at three and fifty-one minutes in the morning, at a distance of 36 km north of the city of Latakia in the Mediterranean.
There were several earthquakes that struck this month off the Syrian coast, the highest recorded at 4.7 degrees on the Richter scale.
