It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Rajep Tayyip Erdogan held, on March 5, talks on the recent escalation in the Syrian province of Idlib.
The talks resulted in an agreement on a joint document that provides for adhering to the Astana formula for the Syrian settlement, a cease-fire in Idlib and a joint patrol in a section of the strategic M4 road.
