The State Department said that the United States Special Representative for Syria, James Jeffrey, will visit NATO headquarters in Brussels next Tuesday for talks with allies on ways to support Turkey in Syria.
In a statement issued on Monday evening, the ministry said that Jeffrey will visit the headquarters of NATO to hold a series of meetings with the allies on March 10 over the crisis in Idlib and its implications for NATO and ways to support Turkey in terms of its security concerns.
In addition, Jeffrey will hold meetings with high-ranking European Union officials to discuss and request assistance specific to the difficult humanitarian situation in Syria, particularly in Idlib, and to implement the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2254 on the Syrian crisis.

One of the Turkish forces in an operation of the government forces against the terrorist organization “HTS“.
On March 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart, Rajep Tayyip Erdogan, reached a package of decisions to ease tension in Syria’s Idlib, including declaring a ceasefire in the region as of 01:00 from March 6, and establishing a safe corridor in specific areas of the road “M4”.
