Today, Syrian Arab Army units shot down a drone of the Turkish regime during its operations against terrorist organizations on the Saraqib axis in the southeastern Idlib countryside.

A SANA reporter stated that a unit from the army dealt with a plane that was piloting the Turkish regime and was shot down over the Saraqib area, stressing the incorrectness of what is being circulated by some media outlets about the shooting down of a Syrian plane and that the plane that was shot down was a Turkish plane, as video footage circulated by The media the moment the plane crashes.

The correspondent pointed out that the Turkish system relies mainly on supporting terrorist groups on the advanced marches that provide fire support as well as exploratory and guidance information for terrorist attacks.

The General Command of the Army and the Armed Forces announced the closure of the airspace for aircraft flights and for any planes marching over the northwestern region of Syria, especially over Idlib governorate, stressing that any aircraft that penetrate our airspace will be treated as a hostile flight that must be shot down and prevented from achieving its aggressive goals.
