The Iranian Foreign Ministry said on Monday that the statements of the US Secretary of State and its spokesperson about Iran‘s efforts to combat Corona are interfering in Iranian affairs and aimed at misleading public opinion.
The State Department said in a statement, that the State Department‘s statements lack the legal point of view, and cannot cover the weak performance of the American administration in combating the spread of the Corona virus, the bad economic conditions and the internal pressures that it is exposed to before months of the presidential elections.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry stressed that if the United States of America spent trillions of dollars on the American people instead of spending on destabilizing the Middle East and supporting ISIS and the “deal of the century”, we would not have seen the American nurses crying in the face of Corona and wearing garbage bags.
The State Department affirmed that Iran will overcome the Corona virus in spite of the unfair and unlawful US sanctions, and will proudly surpass this difficult examination.
And the Iranian Ministry of Health announced in the last statistic, the registration of 3186 new infections with the Corona virus to a total of 41,495, and the death toll rose to 2757 after recording 117 deaths during the past 24 hours.
