The Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria announced the deployment of the Russian military police in the city of Saraqib, south of Idlib Governorate, to ensure security and traffic on the international roads M4-M5.
The Syrian army had regained full control of the strategic city of Saraqib in Idlib countryside, northwestern Syria, which is the meeting point between two international routes linking several regions.
He added in an interview with reporters today: “Given the importance of ensuring the security and safety of vehicles and civilians along the M4 and M5 roads, starting from 17:00 on March 2, 2020, the Russian military police were deployed in the city of Saraqib.”
