The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the new spread of Corona in Syria may have serious consequences, and that Washington bears responsibility for the residents of East Euphrates.
“The spread of corona virus in Syria may have serious consequences, given the presence of overcrowded camps for the displaced in areas not under the control of Damascus, while it is necessary to assist the Syrian government in providing adequate protection and medical services to all in need,” said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
She added: “The United States of America, as the party occupying this area (east of the Euphrates), is fully responsible for the civilian population there and ensuring that their humanitarian needs are met.”
Five cases of Corona virus were recorded in Syria, and health authorities confirmed that all cases were coming from abroad.
