The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Turkey’s continued “aggression” and its deployment of more of its forces in Idlib, its countryside, and Aleppo countryside, and targeting populated areas and some military points. The source stressed Syria’s position rejecting any Turkish presence on the Syrian territories, which constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and a blatant attack on Syrian sovereignty and contradicts the “Astana” statements and “Sochi” understandings regarding the de-escalation zone in Idlib
